Where is your office located?
We have two locations in Juneau, Alaska.
Our main office is open year-round and is centrally located near the airport at 2450 Industrial Blvd.
Our cruise ship location is a seasonal office open during the cruise ship travel season and is located at the AJ Dock (Dock A) 1118 Jacobsen Dr.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
The following situations would require a deposit:
If you pay with a debit card there is a $250.00 deposit required.
If you are approved by management to pay with cash, a $250.00 deposit is required.
If you pay with a major credit card, you are NOT required to pay a deposit fee.
We are not responsible for the time it takes for your bank to reissue your deposit back to your account after the rental.
What are your requirements to rent a car?
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Able to show proof of a valid driver's license.
Must have rental insurance coverage or purchase our Collision Damage Waiver.
Must provide a valid form of payment
Do I have to have my own insurance?
Yes. The state of Alaska requires all vehicles to be insured. We provide liability coverage to meet state minimums but you must provide physical damage coverage through your own personal insurance coverage, or by purchasing our Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Price: $24.95/ day Deductible: $1000 deductible
What does $1000 deductible mean? In the event of an accident, if the customer has purchased our CDW, any damages over $1000 will be covered, provided they are driving in compliance with the rental contract. The first $1000 in damage will be the responsibility of the customer to pay.
Not covered: Expenses for loss of use of the vehicle
What does loss of use mean? Loss of use refers to the rental income lost while the vehicle is out of service for repairs. For example, if it took 7 days to fix a vehicle before it could be rented again, the customer would pay for the usual rental cost per day. If a compact car is $57.50, the customer would pay 7 days at this cost, $402.50.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards and debit cards.
Cash and by management approval.
We do not accept personal checks. Business checks by approval only.
We do not accept any pre-paid store bought credit cards or money cards.
Do you offer a shuttle service?
We do provide courtesy rides during our business hours.
We are centrally located one mile from the airport which allows us to provide pick up and drop off services to the local hotels, ferry terminal, airport, and local marinas.
For those visiting our beautiful city by cruise ship, we offer a seasonal office located at Dock A (AJ Dock) that is accessible by foot, taxi, or other paid transportation.
Yes. We are able to make arrangements to accommodate rental pick up and drop offs outside of our regular business hours. Call our office for details. 907-957-7530
Do you rent car seats?
Can I rent a car if I arrive or depart outside your regular business hours?
We do rent the following:
Infant seats (limited )~ we do recommend for travelers to bring their own.
Do you rent GPS devices?
We do not rent GPS devices. Our road system in Juneau is very simple and easy to navigate, therefore GPS devices are not really necessary. We will, however, provide a road map of the area that will show you all of the places of interest. Many smart phone map apps, such as Google Maps, do work well in most areas of Juneau.
